"Fight me, Loser."

Walking down the street, Alec tried to ignore the dog Kid he walked past by Peters. 

usually, He would be with his gang of friends, A Bear, A Monkey, and some wolf kids too. But they were all sick or something, Alec really didn't care. If only the leader Dog was too.

But anyways, the ignoring was successful... Until He got in front of him, Making him halt.

"I said fight me!" He repeated, Tossing some gum in his mouth as he continued to hover over the fennec. "Or are you chicken I'll beat You again, Loser!"

Alec Merely rolled his eyes and tried to leave. But by moving He gave Peters an opening, So he used that to Push Alec to the floor.

with a Harsh thump, He fell to the floor. In the process his papers fell out, getting scattered about. As He moved over to get them, Peters stomped on His hand to make him stay put. "You know You're a loser Right?"

Alec growled lightly. "Says the one picking on someone smaller than them..."

"What was that?" Alec gritted his teeth as he felt the weight of his shoe grow harder. He didn't say a word. "Yeah, that's what I thought...Loser."

Soon, A Smirk grew on Peters, "Y'know I'm bored... Maybe..." Before Alec knew it, His goggles were removed from his head! "I'll play Scavenger instead~"

"Give...Those...back."

Alec didn't know how to feel much as His goggles were taken. Just the only emotions he felt at the moment were Pure rage and anger.

That's HIS prized gift...and He's Using it like some dumb Toy!

Peters piqued up at the sound. He pretend He could Hear as He pressed His foot down further. "What was that Loser? I couldn't hear You. From allll down there!"

Alec made his words louder, With anger obviously in them, rising more and more. "I Said, Give those back and Piss off!!" He growled.

*crack!*

with the sound of a crack, coming from the goggles, Alec could only bulge his eyes in silent anger. the right eye twitch he gave only barely managed to give out the anger he felt.

Peter's grin grew oh so more wide and cocky as he closed his eyes, completely unaware. It was fun fucking with this nerdy Loser, even if his gang wasn't here with him. He rose his foot from the hand, letting it go. "Now look who's got some bal-"

when he opened them, The last thing he was Red.

literally coming right at him, a left Fist straight to the neck no less.

"I can't believe you got yourself into a Fight, Alec!" Amy cried as she continued to continue bandaging up the fennec. She thanked Gaia she learned how to help injuries from vanilla and cream.

Alec was, Despite the bruises on Him, along with the bloody nose and bloody fist, okay at the moment. 

He was less injured than Peters, that's for sure. Nonetheless, He had to be bandaged up for the bigger bruises. "Not my fault, He started it..."

Amy just sighed as she went on, Suddenly stopped once noticing something on His cheek. "i-is that blood?!"

Alec noticed it As well, Looking at it for a quick moment. "Yeah, But it's not my blood though."

"Why are you taking me from the lab again?"

Raising a brow, Alec asked a simple little question that the pink weasel didn't mind answering. "To get you used to our place and teammates of course! You are a newbie!"

Alec couldn't deny that. "True..."

Amy gleamed. "Right! So-" She would then Haltnon her words, Seeing one familiar ebony friend. "Shadow!"

Shadow turned His head to her as she came close. "Amy?"

It was then the two began talking. Alec phased that out, But he... Shivered, at the sight of the black hedgehog.

He didn't know why he felt such feelings, But... He was scared. he could feel his figure shaking. in a swift moment, He hid behind Amy, hoping shadow didn't notice.

but Shadow did notice, Watching something shaking like a leaf behind her. He decided to ask. "Uh, Amy?"

"Yeah Shadow?" She replied.

The pointing only made Alex more nervous. "What's wrong with him?" 

"Oh!" She waved it off with a smile. "He's just nervous is all!"

Shadow hummed. "I can see that."

Sugar rush

Watching in absolute worry, Tails finally mustered up enough courage to speak. "Alec?"

Alec snapped towards Him, Mouth full of candy. He swallowed it down to respond. "WHAT?!"

Tails flinched a bit at the boom of how loud he was. but still kept on going. "W...What are You doing-"

"I'm eating candy, Duh!" He cut off. "Lots and LOTS of it, hehehehehehe~"

Tails grew more worried at his giggles. "Okay...Why?" 

"BECAUSE!!" He screamed Randomly, startling the fox again. "This is the way! The EFFICIENT way to work faster!"

Tails didn't know how to react. "Uhm... I-I don't think-"

"That's right! You DIDN'T." He pointed at him, Drinking the soda beside him while giving off a look of crazy. "But I DID! ME! ME! MEMEMEMEMEMEEMEME, ME!!"


Tails slowly backed up. He did not stop until he was nearly out of the room. "Okayyy... See you tomorrow then?"

"BANANAS ON FLYING DOGS! ROBOTS THAT DELIVER PANTS! I'M GETTING ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL THE IDEAS NOW!"

Tails kept a nice smile on while being scared slightly. "Okay then."

"Ughhhhh..."

Tails patted the fennecs back as he was laid on the floor. Dazed, Tired, and was like a fucking wreck. "You good Alec?"

"Uggghhh..."

Tails raised a brow. "Need anything?"

"Ughhhh...!"

"I'll take you home then, that good?"

Once tails finally got a response, It quite wasn't as he expected.

Vomit. literal vomit.

on his shoes.

and It was amazing how He kept a straight face, throughout.


Cute

"Miss Amy, Miss Amy!" 

As Alec would see. Some rabbit ran Forward and Hugged Amy. It was some rabbit girl in an orange dress. from his deductions, She looked to be around the same age as Him.

"Hey Cream," Amy Spoke. Hugging back. "Hope everything's going fine~!"

and the Rabbit named cream responded. "Oh, it is! Mommy and Mister Vector have been taking very good care of me."


Amy smiled. "Great~" she decided to gesture her to Alec. "Now this is a rookie of the Resistance, Alec. and Alec, meet cream!"

Alec Nodded. "Hi."

Cream beamed a smile. It was so nice that it had alec do a double-take. "Hi there Alec. It's to meet you!"

Alec felt pink rush to his cheeks. "...L-Likewise."

Why was she So Cute!

Seriously, How was she so cute?!

He could feel his cheeks warm fast with his heart-warming too.

Did she have some superpower or something?!

"So, What do you do?" Cream stroked her chin, To which Amy then answered. "He's an inventor/blueprint maker."

"Ooh! Like Tails!" She said.

and just like that, The ice formed on his heart with his cheeks getting fading it's pink.

he forced a smile. as to not worry. "Y-Yeah...exactly like him."

Cream Beamed innocently. "I hope you can make just as good things too, I believe in you!"

"Thanks."

at that smile, That precious smile...


Alec couldn't deny that the ice was melting again.

"HEY, TAILS!!"

Alec stopped right then on the sidewalk when he heard that. His right eye twitched with anger.

"Of all The nicknames..." He muttered lowly, Tone filled with dislike with the nickname. The Red fennec took a deep breath before turning around to whoever called him out, Looking at His bullies with a neutral look. "What?"

To His surprise Though, It wasn't His bullies.

It was some flying bee instead.

"Wow..." The Bee inspected him, from goggles to his height. "You look like Mini-Tails, but Red! Hehehe~"

An ANNOYING flying bee to be exact.

He wasn't the only one that would come up to the fennec. "Charmy, Stop going ahead alone! Wait for Us, Will Ya?" it was 2 more, some chameleon and a crocodile.

Charmy rolled His eyes. "Well Sorry, It was boring watching You deal with traffic!"

As He floated back over to the two, The crocodile came forward to the fennec.

once close, He bent down to his level. "Sorry if my comrade over there made You uneased, hehe."

Although Alec would've loved to give the bee a piece of His mind, He decided to let it go. "No, No he didn't. it's Okay."

The croc smiled cheekily at the dismissal as The fennec continued. "But one thing though... Who are You Guys?"

He put a hand on the Fennecs head, Ruffling it. "Well Kid, I'm Vector The Crocodile!"

He then gestured over to the other two, Who seemed to have been chatting with one another. "The Purple Chameleon is my Partner Espio, While the other Partner You just met is Charmy!"

He then pointed to himself, Posing as he said the last words. "We're the Chaotix detective agency, Always Taking up in investigations and Mysteries Alike!"

Alec Squinted His eyes slowly. "Mmmhmm..."

He then Puts up His hand to shake Vectors. "I'm Alec, A Newbie in the freedom fighters."

Vector gave a thumbs up. "Nice! So That means You heard Right?"

The Fennec raised a brow. "Heard what?"

From the corners of his eye, He could see Espio walk up to him. He then put a hand on His left shoulder. "There's been a Huge electrical Surge lately, Causing the Whole City to go haywire."

"Yeah," Charmy Added. "It was sooooo crazy...and boring!"

"Pretty sure we got that Charmy." The croc sweatdropped at the Bee's response before turning back to the Fennec. "So, I wanna if there's some clues or ideas You have that could Help Us Pretty much!"

"Anything can Be of Use really, No matter How little." Espio reassured.

The fennec put a Hand to his chin and began to think. Was there anything He knew? 

No... Not really. HE hasn't been aware of this until recently of course! All He had been doing was working on concepts for inventions and Hanging out With His friend...

Wait... His Friend! KIT!!

MAYBE HE KNOWS SOMETHING!!

His Tail began to wag at the thought of His friend, Which Charmy noticed. "Hey Red-Tails, Your tail is wagging!!"

"Charmy, That's not His name!!" Vector scolded. "It's Alec!"

"But He feels like a Tails to me." Charmy shrugged.

While Vector and Charmy continued to talk, It was all blubber to Alec considering His little realization.

Maybe Kit knows about these? 


Perhaps next time they Meet, He should ask Him...

He shook His head to snap Himself out of His thoughts before responding. "Sorry... Got nothing, But I will let You know if I get something, Okay?"

Vector Nodded at that. "Alright." He then pulled out a phone number. "Once You do, Call Us."

Once Alec took the number, Vector walked off. "Alright, Come on You Guys, Time to check the sewers!" 

Espio nodded, Following along. "Of course, see You later, Alec." He bowed before going.

Charmy waved bye as well. "Bye Red-Tails!"

"CHARMY!!!"

"I-I mean, Alec" He cheekily smiled before joining the two in leaving.

Once they were gone the Fennec smile was a frown as He sighed then after. "That Bee was annoying... But."

He looked down at the paper, Lips pursing as He took an extra look at the numbers. " I really need to Ask Kit about this the next time I meet Him..."

Help

"Just put this here, Connect this, and....wait. nonononononononoNONONONONONO-"

With the sound of a mini-explosion right beside him, Tails perked up. Looking at his side, He'd see Alec's side...and it was all blown up, all black on his side. and Alec looked none happy. "Ughhh, I hate this...!"

getting curious, The fox decided to get up, taking a step over to him, He would look around. One of the only things that weren't all black were the blueprints.

Now, What was written on it caught his eye. Heat signature detector? sounded interesting. "Are You really making a signature detector?" He would ask.

"No, I'm making a Time machine." Alec bluntly stated. "Of course, I'm making a signature detector you dumb fox."

Before tails could say anything in regards to the insult, The messy fennec got up. "Don't touch my stuff.

He headed straight for the bathrooms. "On my goggles too...!" he whined.

once cleaned Up, alec returned to His part of the lab to see that his spot was cleaned.


now that wasn't what surprised him,

it was the fact that his machine was functional and working.

Alec raised a brow in confusion. He could've sworn it wasn't fine 30 minutes ago! "What the-"

"I did it."

Alec was near silent. "what...Did you do?"

Tails smiled. "With seeing some in things in it out place, I decided to try and fix it!" he explained. "Did a good job I thin-"

"I gave you one job..."

at that cold-sounding voice, Tails quieted down. "And you... FUCKED IT ALL UP!!!" 

Tails flinched at the curse, But still held his ground. "H-Hey! What's Wrong? I just saw some errors and-"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER!" Alec screamed at him, making The fox take a step back. "THAT WAS FOR ME TO FIGURE OUT, NOT YOU!"

Slowly but surely, The fox felt himself get mad too. "W-Why're you getting so angry all of a sudden? I-I know I didn't follow what you said and I'm sorry but-"

He was cut off, Alec glaring him up and down. "NO, YOU'RE NOT, YOU STUPID FOX! I ALWAYS HAVE TO BE IN YOUR SHADOW, HUH?!" 

Now that Threw Tails off completely. The anger went away with a snap and was replaced with a saddened look. "...What?"

that threw Alec off too. He covered his mouth instantly with wide eyes.

and with that, the room went silent as both took in what was said. 

in a quick motion, Alex quickly got everything together, His blueprints, His heat signature, everything that was his. He would then leave hastily, looking down to not look the kitsune in the eyes as he spoke out one more word. 

"Bye."

As the door went shut, Tails was left to himself in the lab, pondering questions about this...
