The morning begins its course as the sun rises above the grassy hills, gracing its luminous rays onto each and every house in town. Accompanying the rise of the morning sun was the melodious singing of the birds as they flew across the blue and cloudless skies, making for a rather pleasant morning. As the sun continues to rise and the birds continue to sing, a little light green bunny in a yellow and flower patterned diaper stirs in his crib before suddenly waking up and opening his sky blue eyes, for the sunflowers on the tips of his leafy ears and tail quickly took notice of the sun’s rays peeking through the window. Now feeling quite energetic from that sudden dose of sunlight, the plant-like bunny stands up and starts to playfully bounce in his crib, giggling as the mattress squeaks in response. He laughs and smiles as he continues to bounce around, but his ears suddenly perk up once he hears the sound of footsteps approaching his bedroom door. The door opens and a taller bunny rabbit with dark green leaves for his ears and tail enters the room, a warm smile to accompany his warm and welcoming eyes that are as yellow as the sun. “Good morning, Oliver! Looks like my little sunshine is up and full of energy already!” Silas says cheerfully, picking the little bunny up and giving his cheek an affectionate nuzzle. “Good mowning, Daddy!” Oliver replies, his smile widening as he nuzzles Silas’ cheek in return, but then a loud rumble comes from his tummy. “If my ears aren’t deceiving me, it sounds like you’re a hungry baby, yes?” Silas chuckles and starts lightly tickling Oliver’s tummy. “Hehehe, y-yea, I h-hungwy!” Oliver says in between fits of giggles. Silas nods and walks downstairs with Oliver in his arms, putting him in his high chair and tying a yellow bib around his neck. While his father begins to make breakfast, Oliver playfully kicks his feet and wiggles his ears around; it only makes sense that an energetic little toddler such as himself would have trouble sitting still. “Here’s your breakfast, buddy!” Silas walks up to the high chair and places a bowl of oats and fruit In front of him. Oliver looks down at the bowl of food, drooling onto his bib as a wider smile forms on his face. After a few more moments, the little bunny thrusts his hand into the bowl and grabs a handful of oats and fruit before shoving them into his mouth, causing some oats to fall onto the floor while fruit juice splatters onto his face. Of course, Oliver didn’t give much attention to the mess he was making, for he was too engrossed in his food to care about that. A pleasant grin remains on his face as he continues to eat, the crunchiness of the oats and the juiciness of the fruit making for an ideal combination of flavors. “Oliver! You’re quite the messy eater today, aren’t you?” Silas cleans up the mess on the floor before cleaning off Oliver’s face with the bib. The plant-like bunny giggles and squirms as he’s cleaned up. Once that’s done, he smacks his lips, now wanting something to drink. “Baba!” he makes grabby hands towards a clear colored baby bottle on the kitchen counter. Silas glances at the bottle before looking back at his son, lightly chuckling at his antics. “Let’s not forget our manners, Oliver. What do we say when we ask for something?” “Oh! May I pweeeease have my baba?” the toddler replies with an innocent smile. “There we go! Such a good boy!” he smiles and pats Oliver on the head before walking over to the kitchen counter and grabbing the baby bottle. Oliver fiddles with the leaves and sunflowers on his ears while Silas prepares the bottle, watching him pour the milk into it before walking over to the microwave and placing the bottle inside; a minute passes and the bottle heats up, causing a beeping sound to come from the microwave once it’s complete. “Alright, the bottle is warm and ready for you, kiddo!” After taking the bottle out of the microwave, Silas unties Oliver’s bib and picks him up from his high chair before walking over to the couch with the bottle in one hand and the toddler in the other hand. Silas then sits on the couch and rests Oliver on his lap, chuckling as the little bunny motions his hands towards the bottle. “Ok, here it comes.” Silas says as he moves the bottle closer to him. The moment it moves within arms reach, Oliver grabs the bottle and puts it into his mouth, smiling in satisfaction and happily wiggling his flowery tail as the creamy milk envelops his taste buds. “Someone’s a hungry little bunny this morning.” Silas chuckles and pats Oliver’s back as he continues to greedily drink from the bottle. Once the bottle empties, Silas puts the little tyke over his shoulder and firmly pats his back. In response, a loud burp erupts from Oliver’s mouth, causing him to giggle and laugh in amusement. “Now what do we say after we burp, Oliver?” Silas asks him. “Hehehe, excuse me!” he replies with another giggle. “You’re excused.” Silas nods approvingly and stands up. “Now that you’ve got a full tummy, it’s time we get dressed up so we can get going.” “Hm? Whew awe we going, Daddy?” Oliver asks, raising a curious eyebrow. “We’re going to my workplace, bud. Today is bring your kid to work day!” he replies with a wide smile. “Oooh!” Oliver returns the smile, but then a confused expression quickly replaces it, realizing that he never bothered to think about what his father did when had to go to work. “Um, so what do you do, Daddy?” “Well, why don’t you try and take a guess at it?” Silas tells him. “Ok!” the toddler says cheerfully, wiggling his tail as he thinks of an answer. “Oh! Awe you an astwonaut? Awe we gonna go ta space?!” Oliver beams at the thought as he excitedly wiggles his flowery ears and tail. “You sure have quite the active imagination!” Silas chuckles again and boops Oliver on the nose, eliciting a playful giggle from the little bunny. “I’m not an astronaut though, I’m a parapsychologist.” “A pa-, a pa-pa-pawo-“ Oliver babbles as he tries to sound out this unfamiliar word. “A pawwot psychowogist? You have biwdies at youw job?” he asks in confusion. Silas bursts into laughter at this silly mistake, eventually composing himself after a few more moments. “You silly bunny! It’s not parrot psychologist, it’s parapsychologist, someone who studies the mind and the potential existence of psychic abilities.” Silas responds. “Wow! So my mind has supah powahs?” Oliver’s blue eyes widen in awe and wonder. “We don’t know yet, but that’s what we’re trying to find out.” Silas replies before walking upstairs. “But enough of me talking your ear off, let’s get you dressed up!” Once Silas enters his room, he sets Oliver down and opens up the closet, taking out a light blue t-shirt and a black pair of shorts with a small tail hole. “Are these clothes alright, Oliver?” Silas turns around and holds out the shorts and t-shirt. “Mmhm!” Oliver nods approvingly. “Okay! Now lift your arms up!” Silas says as he walks over to Oliver. Oliver lifts up his arms and the blue t-shirt is quickly put over his head as his father maneuvers it through the arm holes. “Good boy! Now for your pants!” Silas says as he kneels down to Oliver’s feet and holds out the black shorts. The little bunny puts a foot into each of the holes before Silas pulls the shorts up, covering everything except the top of Oliver’s diaper. Once he’s all dressed up, Silas goes back to the closet and grabs his work clothes, putting on a white suit and a pair of khaki shorts. “Alright, now we just need to get your socks and shoes on, then we’re ready to go!” Silas pats Oliver on the head and starts walking downstairs. The leafy green bunny wiggles his tail and happily hops downstairs, excited for whatever awaits him at his father’s workplace. Oliver then toddles over to Silas and sits down, a loud crinkle coming from his diaper as he waits for his socks and shoes to be put on. “Oh, someone’s excited to get going!” Silas grabs a white pair of socks and puts them on Oliver’s feet; he then puts a pair of blue shoes on his feet and ties them up for him. Silas puts his own pair of shoes on and grabs a light blue bag, putting it over his shoulder before picking Oliver up and heading out of the house. While he walks towards the car, Oliver looks up towards the bright sun and the cloudless sky, appreciating the rather beautiful day as he breathes in the crisp, fresh air. Once Silas reaches the car, he opens the door and places Oliver in his booster seat, securely buckling him in and giving him a kiss on the cheek before walking over to the driver’s seat. “Ready, bud?” he asks, glancing at his son once he gets in the driver’s seat. “Weady, Daddy!” Oliver excitedly replies, playfully wiggling his feet. The leafy little bunny glances through the car window as it starts to move, giggling as it zooms past some trees and other people scattered around their neighborhood. When the car reaches the freeway, Oliver’s attention is shifted elsewhere once he hears the sound of music coming from the radio; this greatly amuses him, and now he can’t help but break out into a dance as he playfully wiggles around in the booster seat. “You’re just a little ball of energy today, aren’t you, sunshine?” Silas laughs in response to the toddler’s playful antics. “Don’t be too rowdy at the workplace though, ok?” Oliver nods, though it doesn’t seem like he’ll be able to keep that promise as he continues to giggle and wiggle around in his seat. After some more time passes, Silas drives into a parking lot and parks the car in a vacant spot. “Here we are!” Silas gets out of the driver seat, opening the passenger door and unbuckling him before taking him out of the car and setting him down. Oliver spots a tall white building towering above the surrounding area, and now his imagination got the best of him; he imagined that the building in front of him was a humongous castle, and he wanted to explore every nook and cranny of it. “Ok, Oliver, now come here and hold my han-“ In spite of his father’s wishes, Oliver let his curiosity get the best of him and he started frantically running over to the building, giggling and laughing while doing so. “Ollie! Get back here!” Silas starts to chase after him, but the little tyke is too energetic for him to keep up. Greatly outpacing his father, Oliver approaches the building and goes inside, looking around the corridor as he prances around the tile floor. To his dismay, the first floor is pretty barren with the exception of a clock on the wall and some potted plants decorating the hall, leaving no room for exploration. Suddenly, Oliver hears the sound of approaching footsteps. Assuming that it’s his father coming, the leafy green bunny quickly hides behind one of the potted plants, though the sunflowers on the tips of his ears stick out from the pot. Silas enters the building and looks around for a few moments, uncertain as to where his son may be. “Oh, Oliverrrr! Where did you go?” he calls out to him, but then he quickly notices a pair of flowery ears peeking out from one of the potted plants. However, rather than immediately exposing his hiding spot, Silas laughs to himself and decides to play along. “Hmmm, now where could my little ray of sunshine be?” he asks while he wanders around the corridor, eliciting a soft giggle from Oliver as he continues hiding behind the potted plant. Silas checks every part of the area except the potted plant Oliver is hiding behind, feigning a defeated shrug. This causes Oliver to giggle again, thinking his father wasn’t able to find him. “Well, if he’s gone, I guess he’s gonna miss out on the special surprise I was gonna tell him about after work. How unfortunate.” Silas says as he starts to walk away. “Huh? Special suwpwise?!” Oliver’s ears perk up and he reveals himself from behind the potted plant before eagerly hopping over to his father. “Well there you are, Ollie!” Silas chuckles and pats him on the head. “And yes, I have something special for you after work.” “Ooh, okay!” Oliver says as he takes hold of Silas’ hand. Silas walks him over to an elevator, pressing a button that causes it to open a few moments later. Once they go inside, the little bunny looks at the numbered buttons on the elevator’s metal walls. “Woah! What do aww dese buttons do, Daddy?” he asks, curiously eyeing the buttons. “Those buttons move the elevator up and down, buddy.” Silas responds. “How about you give it a try and press the one with the number three on it.” “Okay!” he moves his finger around the buttons and presses the one for the third floor, causing it to light up; this greatly intrigues him, so he proceeds to press some of the other buttons, giggling as they light up. “Silly Ollie! You only needed to press one of them!” Silas laughs and pulls Oliver away from the buttons as the elevator makes its way to the third floor. Once they exit the elevator, Oliver holds Silas’ hand and observes his surroundings as his eyes dart around the area. His eyes soon fixate on a column of drawers, and being the curious little toddler that he is, he opens up the drawer and grabs some kind of file cabinet. “Ooooh! What’s dis, Daddy?” he asks as he starts rummaging through the file cabinet. “Hm?” Silas turns around, a wide-eyed expression suddenly appearing on his face once he finds out what his son is holding. “Oliver! Don’t tamper around with those files. They need to stay nice and organized.” Silas quickly takes the file away from the curious toddler’s hands and puts it back in its original place. “I know you’re curious, buddy, but that doesn’t mean you can- Disregarding those words, Oliver runs under his father’s legs and starts playfully prancing through the hallway; he knew that Silas told him not to be rowdy, but he couldn’t help himself, for his curiosity knew no bounds and he wanted to explore every inch of this place. “Oliver! Get back here!” Silas says as he starts running after him. The little leafy bunny giggles and laughs as he’s being chased, running as fast as his little legs can take him. However, after more time passes, Silas catches up to Oliver and scoops him up in his arms. “Buddy, you’re not gonna be able to see more of the workplace if I have to keep chasing you around.” Silas says to him. “Hehehe, sowwy, Daddy!” Oliver says with a giggle. Silas chuckles and sets the energetic toddler back down before walking into a tile-floored laboratory; the curious Oliver looks around the large laboratory, though the first thing that immediately catches his eye is a wooden table with Zener cards neatly placed in columns of two. “What awe dese, Daddy?” Oliver dashes over to the table and plops his crinkly tush onto a chair, giggling as he flips over the cards and spots a variety of colorful shapes. “Is dis a cawd game?” he says as he grabs some of the cards and puts them in his hands. “Those are Zener cards, bud.” Silas replies. “They’re used for examining the presence of ESP, the ability to receive information in ways beyond your physical senses.” Oliver’s eyes widen in response, and now he wanted to know if he had this ability his father was talking about. “Ooooh! Can I twy? Can I twy? I wanna pway dis game!” Oliver says enthusiastically as he bounces up and down on the chair. “Sorry, Ollie, but I’m going to have to use those for the volunteers who are coming here today.” Silas says as he puts the cards back into their original places. “I’m also gonna have to ask you to not touch anything else in my lab while I’m working, but you’re more than welcome to look around.” Oliver nods and hops off the chair, smiling as he toddles around the laboratory. While this is going on, his guests step inside the laboratory. Silas greets them both and makes them each sit down in a chair before starting up the experiment; he holds up a card with the back of it facing the volunteers and prompts them each to predict the shape and color of the symbol that’s on the card. This process goes on for a while, and while watching his father conduct his experiments serves to entertain Oliver for a little bit, he starts to get bored and antsy after more time passes. The leafy bunny then fixates his eyes on a large chalkboard with notes and diagrams at the back of the lab and walks over to it; he knew that Silas told him not to touch anything, but the silly and playful toddler simply couldn’t help himself. With a wide grin on his face, he grabs some pieces of chalk and starts drawing an assortment of shapes and smiley faces all over the chalkboard. Silas doesn’t initially take note of his son’s antics due to being too caught up in his experiments, but once the volunteers take their leave, Silas stands up and gasps in shock upon noticing what Oliver had done. “Oliver! Didn’t I tell you not to touch anything?” Silas says to him, looking at him with an expression of slight disapproval. “Sowwy, Daddy! I was getting kinda bowed.” the little one replies with an innocent smile. “Well, I guess I can’t really blame an energetic tot like you for trying to find something to do.” Silas says as he grabs an eraser and starts erasing Oliver’s little drawings. “At least you had the courtesy to draw around my diagrams and not over them.” he adds with a slight chuckle. Once that’s done with, Silas walks over to his desk and sits down, turning on his computer before opening up a document and aggressively typing the results of his recent experiment into it. Curious about the contents of the brightly screened computer, Oliver toddles over to the desk and quickly hops onto his father’s lap. “Woah!” his leafy tail flutters in surprise and he looks down at the toddler in his lap. “Sorry, Ollie, but I’ve got some pretty important work to do right now and I need to be focused.” he says before lifting Oliver up and setting him back down. Still filled with curiosity, Oiiver watches his father work from a distance, wondering if he’d spot something interesting. Unfortunately for him, outside of the occasional rustling of Silas’ leafy ears, nothing of interest occurred while his father remained extremely focused on the task at hand. The curious and energetic toddler quickly grows bored from all of this standing around, so he eventually turns around and sneakily tip-toes his way out of the laboratory; luckily for him, Silas seemed to be too engrossed in his work to notice his departure. Oliver then waddles his way through the hallway, eventually stepping inside a large office building containing multiple cubicles. The leafy bunny trots around the building, though none of the workers take notice of his presence, either because they’re too focused on their work or because they’re tending to the needs of their own children. However, as Oliver passes another cubicle, someone finally notices him; a light pink fox with rose red eyes, cherry blossom flowers on the tips of their ears, and a pink dahlia for a tail stands up and turns around to face him. “Oh! Why hello there, little guy!” she says to him with a smile. “What’s your name?” “Owiver.” he says, returning a smile. “Oliver...now where have I heard that name before?” the flowery fox taps her foot on the ground for a few moments before eventually making the connection. “Ah, right! You’re Silas’ kid, though why aren’t you with him right now?” “Daddy is doing work and I needed someting ta do.” Oliver replies. “Yep, that sure sounds like Silas to me! Always one for getting really invested in his work.” she says with a giggle. “In any case, I don’t mind you staying here for a little bit. Oh, and call me Rosa.” “Okie! Nice ta meet ya, Wosa!” Oliver says with a wider smile. “It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Oliver!” Rosa says cheerfully, giving him a pat on the head. She then walks back to her desk and takes a seat in her chair before typing into her computer and resuming her work. Oliver curiously stares at the computer in the meantime, still wondering what lies behind that bright screen; not wanting his curiosity to go unchecked, he walks to the desk and climbs onto Rosa’s lap. “Oh! I take it you want to see what I’m working on?” Rosa asks him. “Yea! I wanna see! I wanna see!” he replies, playfully bouncing on her lap. “Well aren’t you a curious little boy?” Rosa warmly smiles at Oliver and pulls him closer to her so he can get a better look at what she’s typing up. Oliver stares at the screen in awe, looking at columns of numbers accompanied by bar and line graphs; he didn’t exactly know what any of this information mea, but it greatly fascinated him nonetheless. “Wow!” So many numbahs!” Oliver says with an awestruck and wide-eyed expression. “Yep! My job is all about numbers!” Rosa says to him. “I’m a data analyst here, so I deal with all of the data from the experiments of other colleagues. I’ve worked with your father a few times as well.” After some more time passes, Rosa compiles the rest of the data onto the document and closes it; she then looks at Oliver once her work is done. “Alright, I’m gonna take you back to your father now.” Rosa gets up from her chair and picks Oliver up, walking back to Silas’ lab while she carries the toddler in her arms. Meanwhile, still quite invested in his work, Silas continues to aggressively type on his keyboard while he compiles his recent findings into a document. As this goes on, Rosa walks inside the lab, though Silas doesn’t notice her until she speaks to him. “Hard at work as usual, I see.” the pink and flowery fox says. “Your son sure makes for some good company.” Silas abruptly turns around and spots Rosa holding his son. “Ollie! You left the lab without me knowing?” Silas says with an expression of concern. You could have gotten yourself lost if Rosa didn’t find you.” “Oh, come now, Silas, don’t be so uptight.” Rosa says with a giggle while she lightly bounces Oliver in her arms. “He’s just a curious little guy who wants to know more about the world around him. Why, with that kind of curiosity, he’d make for the perfect scientist once he’s older, wouldn’t you agree?” she says before setting Oliver down. “Yea, I suppose I shouldn’t be one to discourage his curiosity.” Silas concedes with a chuckle. “After all, our own curiosity is what made us want to become scientists in the first place.” “Right you are!” Rosa replies. “Anywho, what have you been working on lately?” Silas and Rosa then get into a conservation about their findings and experiments, discussing the implications of the data and numbers they’ve collected. As this conversation goes on, Oliver feels a sudden warmth forming in his diaper, causing him to look down at his shorts as his diaper starts swelling and soaking up the contents of his bladder. After a few more moments, his bladder empties, but a gurgle from his tummy makes the little toddler realize he’s not done using his diapers just yet. Instinctively, Oliver gets into a squat and starts softly grunting as his leafy tail starts to hike up; with a brief bout of flatulence, Oliver deposits a big and firm solid into his diaper, forming a noticeable lump in the back of his pants. Of course, this doesn’t bother him in the slightest as a relieved smile forms on his face, knowing that someone was going to change him anyways. “Oh, and speaking of numbers, it smells like your son did a number in his pants.” Rosa says with a giggle as a less than pleasant smell fills the room. “Oh dear, time to get you cleaned up, Ollie.” Silas says before picking Oliver up and walking out of his office. While he walks Oliver to one of the restrooms, the inquisitive toddler looks around the hall once more, wondering if he could spot anything interesting. Unfortunately, his search quickly comes to a stop once Silas steps into the restroom and lays Oliver onto the changing station. “Daddy, I wanna see mowe of da workpwace!” Oliver says as he squirms and fidgets. “Buddy, I know you want to see more of the place, but I don’t want you all by yourself and I need to get more work done pretty soon.” Silas replies. “Now please hold still.” Oliver slightly frowns while Silas starts changing him. After pulling down his shorts and undoing the dirty diaper, he then lifts up Oliver’s legs and applies generous amounts of wipes and powder to his bottom, making sure it’s completely spotless before Silas gets a new diaper from his bag and puts it under Oliver’s legs. “There we go.” Silas snugly tapes the diaper around Oliver’s waist and pulls his shorts back up. “I’m gonna be on lunch break pretty soon, so how about we head outside and have some lunch?” “Ok, Daddy!” Oliver’s frown is quickly replaced with a wide smile, as lunch certainly sounded nice right about now. Silas picks him back up and walks out of the restroom, lightly bouncing Oliver in his arms while he heads to the elevator and makes his way back to the first floor. After eventually stepping out of the elevator and walking outside, Silas sits Oliver next to him before taking out two halves of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from his bag, handing one half to Oliver and keeping the other half for himself. As the two eat their lunches, Silas tries to unwind and relax, but even in these moments of silence he can’t stop thinking about his work and what else needs to be done. A few minutes later, Silas turns around when he suddenly hears the sound of approaching footsteps and his nerves skyrocket when he realizes that it’s his boss, Vera. “There you are, Silas. There’s something we need to talk about.” a purple cat with violet eyes, red glasses, and lavender colored lilac flowers scattered over her ears and tail stands in front of him. Silas nervously trembles in response, as the boss was never one for directly confronting others unless there was something of great importance. “Oliver, did you mess something up while you were walking around by yourself?” Silas asks as he glances over at his son, assuming the boss was here because he did something wrong. “What are you talking about?” Vera raises a confused eyebrow before bursting into laughter. “Good heavens, no, this isn’t about anyone doing something wrong. If anything, you’re in for a pleasant surprise.” “Oh…apologies for the misunderstanding then.” Silas replies with a sheepish smile. “Anyways, remember how I told you about giving you the day off?” she asks him. “Yes, why do you ask?” Silas says back. “Well, given how productive you’ve been this month, I figured there wouldn’t be any harm in giving you the rest of the day to yourself as well.” the purple-flowered cat says with a smile. “A-are you sure about that?” Silas nervously replies. “What if there’s more stuff that needs to be done? Can’t I just work for the rest of the day just to be safe?” “Oh Silas, you’re the only person I know who dreads the idea of having time off.” Vera says with a giggle. “Besides, I bet a certain someone would be more than happy to spend all that time with you!” she says while glancing at Oliver. “Ok, maybe I do get a little too invested in my work sometimes…” Silas concedes as he glances back at Oliver. “Then this should be a great opportunity for you to take your mind off work.” Vera says with another giggle. “Anywho, you have a great rest of your day!” she says before turning around and heading back inside the building. “Hm, what was she tawking about?” Oliver asks, not paying too much attention to the conversation. “Well, I was going to tell you about this later, but it seems the cat is already out of the bag.” Silas says with a chuckle. “The surprise I was going to tell you was that I have the day off work tomorrow, and I guess I now have the rest of today off too.” “Wow! Awesome!” Oliver stands up and excitedly hops in place. “Now then, how about we head back home.” Silas picks Oliver up and starts heading back to the car. While Silas secures Oliver into his booster seat and hops in the car, the excited little toddler playfully bounces in his seat, wondering what they were going to do together with all of this extra time on Silas’ hands. This bouncing around continues for the entire ride home and he squirms and fidgets when Silas picks him up and takes him out of the car. “Buddy, I know you’re excited, but we gotta get you to bed.” Silas tells him. “Huh, but why now, Daddy?” Oliver asks with a slight frown. “Because I want you to be well rested so we can make the most out of my day off.” Silas replies. “Oh, okay!” Oliver’s smile quickly returns. Silas then goes inside and walks upstairs to Oliver’s room, setting the toddler down while he rummages through the closet and takes out a sky blue onesie. “Arms up, bud!” Silas says with a smile. Oliver nods and lifts his arms up before Silas takes off the shirt. Once that’s done, Silas lays Oliver down and takes off his shorts, guiding his arms and legs through the holes before buttoning it up. “Now you’re all ready for bed!” Silas picks Oliver up and gives him a kiss on the cheek before placing him in his crib and tucking him in. “Sweet dreams, Oliver!” Once Oliver eventually falls asleep, Silas leaves his room with a nervous expression on his face; he was only being partially truthful when he said that putting Oliver to bed early was for the sake of him resting up for tomorrow, as the main reason was because he had no idea how he was gonna spend his day off with his son. “Geez…what does someone even do on their day off? I’m really not used to having time off work.” Silas walks to his room and sits on his bed while he ponders this decision. “Oliver likes to explore, so maybe I could take him to a museum. What kind of museum would I take him too though? What if he doesn’t like it? What if the tickets are too expensive?” Silas’ mind quickly gets overwhelmed as these thoughts swim around in his head. “To think it would be this taxing just to think of something fun to do on my day off. I really need a place to relax.” Shortly after saying those words, an idea suddenly pops into his head. “A relaxing place, that’s it! Perhaps I can take Oliver to the beach. He’ll have the chance to explore a new place and enjoy himself and I’ll have a chance to unwind, so it should be perfect.” Silas’ nervousness starts to fade away, but then another question pops into his mind. “Now the question is, do I even have suitable equipment for the beach?” In an attempt to answer that question, Silas walks out of his room and enters the living room, scanning through several drawers in search of something useful. After a few minutes of searching, he’s able to salvage a few plastic buckets and shovels. “It may not be the best, but these should suffice.” Silas says to himself before heading back into his room and stuffing them into one of his bags. Once all of that is done, Silas takes off his suit and flops onto his bed, figuring he’d also go to bed early to ease his nerves some more. “It still feels strange to have time off, but I guess it goes to show how much I actually need some time off.” he says to himself before soon falling asleep.
