Tails is sitting in front of a computer and watches a cartoon that was simply called “Sonic the Hedgehog,” but has been dubbed “Sonic SATAM” by the fans.

After watching enough footage, Tails looks a bit upset.

Tails: Well, I’m not really impressed by what I’m seeing.  I mean, I don’t know what any of this has to do with what the Sonic games are about.  When is Sonic going to start destroying Badniks and rescuing animals?  Does Sonic ever fight Eggman directly?  I mean, Robotnik.  Heck, where am I in this cartoon?

Tails continues to watch the cartoon and sees a young, brown fox.

Tails: They made me a helpless child?!  But I’m Sonic’s best friend!  I was going on adventures with him and helped fight Dr. Eggman since the day we met!  Heck, at least the “Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog” cartoon treated me like a kid sidekick!  But I’m not even given anything to do in this show!

Tails continues to watch the cartoon.  He sees Rotor Walrus interacting a lot with Sonic.

Tails: They made him Sonic’s best friend?

Tails sees Rotor tinkering with machines and creating new inventions.

Tails: Hey!  That’s my thing!  I’m the kid genius who tinkers with machines and creates inventions!

Tails tries to calm down.

Tails: Well, at least Rotor isn’t piloting the Tornado biplane and flying Sonic around.  That’s one iconic thing no can take from me.

Tails sees Rotor piloting the Freedom Stormer biplane.

Tails: Oh, come on!  He’s a pilot too?!

Tails sighs.

Tails: So, when do I become a part of the Freedom Fighters?  Or better yet, when do I start going on adventures with Sonic?

Tails does research on the internet.  Supposedly, he would’ve had a more active role in the third season, before the Sonic SATAM cartoon was cancelled.

Tails: Man, they didn’t respect my character at all!  They made me a side character while focusing on the Freedom Fighters.  And they gave my talents to someone else!

Tails opens a box of old comic books.

Tails: Well, I guess I’ll give the Archie Comics a read.  I’m sure they treated my character with proper respect.

Tails starts reading the comics, not prepared for what’s in store for him…
