"Turbines to speed." "Check, check." "All systems are go." Lights in the pilots' helmets lit blue. Each of them leaned forward blasting at the ground with jets on their arms and backs forming a tripod of thrust strong enough to lift them and their equipment into the air. "Begin weapons test." Dr. Laboni Chakrabarti bowed her head in the command bunker and offered a simple prayer in hindi. "Om Dum Durgayei Namaha." General Stryker raised an eyebrow, "Fear not Doctor Chakra. These are our best test pilots and this bunker is well protected. I doubt we'll have any need of a 'feminine energy shield.'" He chuckled to himself over the absurdity of her prayer as he rubbed the Thor's Hammer on his keychain. As the jetsuit pilots darted around the test range they shot up various targets with machine guns mounted at their waists. One launched a rocket to detonate an old tank. Shrapnel from the blast flew wide and hit another pilot's arm turbines. With expert skill Temple used his remaining jets to descend, balancing precariously on only two points of thrust. "Temple down, weapons locked." As the other pilots circled in standby, Temple monitored his suits stats and the automated reports from the other suits. Using this data he adjusted his thrust vectors to ensure a safe landing. Dr. Chakrabarti looked over the streaming data. "Looks like the fuel line, but it wasn't severed, maybe just obstructed. Getting other errors too, ignition switch is dead. Doesn't look like the shrapnel stayed, bounced off the armor with minor damage." As Temple finally set down on the tarmac another pilot helped him remove the armor on the turbines. A spark ignited an undetected buildup of jet fuel violently thrusting the pilots apart. Dr. Chakrabarti saw Temple's body launching right toward her. She ducked in fear and plugged her ears for the impending explosion of his fuel tank on the bunker wall. "Intruder Alert, Intruder Alert. Weapons hot." Laboni looked up to see why there had been no explosion but all she could see through the bunker window was a pair of chalk white ass cheeks and a blue thong. She looked to the monitors and saw a 15' tall woman with ten arms and jet black hair. The other pilots rose into the air and started firing upon the intruder. Annoyed by the first few bullets, the intruder raised both her spear and staff. Spinning them she blocked the hail while looking down to Temple in her other arms. Temple's mic transmitted his confused question, "Who are you?" But it could not hear her reply, only his responses. "What do you mean, 'Laboni loves me', you mean Dr. Chakrabarti?" Laboni blushed as she realised her goddess had just outed her crush on the testpilot. Seeing the other pilots unload with their rockets she looked to General Stryker. "Stop this! She's here for me." She rushed out of the bunker and ran out onto the tarmac just as the gunfire stopped. She hugged the gold and blue-klad goddesses waist crying her thanks. "Thank you, @DeviDurga, thank you. He means so much to me." The white beauty smiled down to her devotee. "I am glad to help a warrior once again." "DURGA!" Another giant slammed down upon the tarmac with 4 arms in a red dress and a blue headband. Durga looked up to the other goddess towering another 12 feet above her. "Oh, shit. She caught me. I guess one of your coworkers follows @DeviParvati." Temple lifted his turbine laden hand, "That's probably me." Parvati hissed loudly, "@DeviDurga, come back to @SwargaLoka, immediately." Durga pouted and stamped her foot. "Come on, Parvati, I belong on the battlefield, not on social media." Parvati boomed, "Durga, how many times do I have to remind you, without enough followers manifesting like this could be lethal for you." Durga set Temple down and gestured to him and Laboni. "But these manushyon needed me." "And how will @MaaChandika serve them during pralaya if you die defending them now? She is us, and through her we must protect the @Trailokya." Temple opened the Godster app in his HUD and switched his primary Follow from @DeviParvati to @MaaChandika. This locked in 1/3rd follows for @DeviParvati, @DeviDurga, and @DeviLakshmi. Durga smiled down to Temple and gave a thumbs up with one of her lower hands before addressing Parvati. "Fine, I shall return to the computer work, at least I know I saved one good warrior today. With his help, maybe I can save others in the future." The pair of goddesses bowed to each other, jumped into the air, and vanished with the roar of a tiger. Laboni and Temple looked deep into each other's eyes. Laboni pressed the release for his helmet and they kissed for the first time. Over comms another pilot could be heard saying, "Man, I really hate gods using government property for publicity stunts."
